DAY 1: Journey to Mombasa

Arrive at the train station then proceed to check in and board your train to Mombasa. The train departs in the afternoon to arrive at the Mombasa Station in the late afternoon. You will be met by AMNI TOURS representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, proceed to the restaurant for a romantic candlelit dinner. Overnight will be at Beach Resort.

DAY 2: Mombasa City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Board your van and enjoy a city tour of Mombasa City visiting the peak sites. Mombasa Old Town is one of the historical tourist attractions on Mombasa Island. It is located on the southeast side of Mombasa and occupies an area of 180 acres. It is inhabited by a mix of local, Arab, Portuguese, Asian and British communities. Proceed to have a guided tour of Fort Jesus, the narrow streets, the hanging balconies, and the Akamba wood carvers.

Fort Jesus was built by the Portuguese between 1593 and 1598. It occupies an area of 2 acres. Between 1631 and 1875 it was won and lost nine times by the three major powers that were contesting to control Mombasa Island i.e. Portuguese, Arab and British. It was the first European-style fort constructed outside of Europe that was designed to resist cannon fire. Today, it is one of the finest examples of 16th century Portuguese military fortification.

Later on, drive further to the famed Mamba Village where an experienced site guide will welcome you and guide you through the reptile farm that harbors crocodiles and snakes, and more to learn comes with a visit to the botanical garden. Various types of species are displayed and their magic explained. You will also tour the aquarium to witness different types of fish found in the Indian Ocean. Packed lunch en-route. In the afternoon to the wild waters park. The park has over 15 adult and kids slides, a water play station, a one-of-a kind Rain dance Arena, a variety of amusement and air rides, and bumper cars. Return to hotel; in the evening you will proceed to a secluded place at the hotel with music and a set bar for happy hour (own arrangement).

DAY 3: MOMBASA

Have hot breakfast then head to have an adventure as you visit the former Bamburi nature trail currently called Haller Park. This is the only place in Kenya where you can see the giant tortoises in large numbers and go close to even touching them or sitting on them. You will be guided through the trails to the fishponds and through the crocodile firm to witness how the fish and the crocodiles are bred, how and why albino crocodiles, and fish come up. Amazingly, you will learn how the plants and trees have adopted the salty soils and the symbiotic relationship between the millipedes and the casuarina trees. There are a number of animals and birds to be witnessed here like Hippos, Buffalo, and Elands. For the Bird lovers, you will see a number of Grey Crowned Crane, Sacred Ibis and many more. For another adventure you will sail on Likoni Ferry for an afternoon at leisure then return to the hotel.

DAY 4: Departure from Mombasa

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the train station mid-morning for your ride back to Nairobi. The train departs Mombasa in the early afternoon to arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon with memories to cherish forever.

NB: Children aged between 3 - 11 pays 50% sharing with Adults and 75% of the rate in own room
